Milan

I'll be in Milan for some days.
There will be days busy and full of things to do and see and probably buy!
But... business before pleasure!

"
Milan, Italy’s fashion capital and home to La Scala is a city that boasts romance, culture and style. Milan holidays are perfect for a short break or, a twin centre holiday.

Stylish, energetic and economically powerful Milan is probably the most important city in Italy in terms of fashion, industry and commerce. Located in the Po Valley in the northwest of Italy and capital of the Lombardy region it is the second largest city in the country and home to numerous museums, monuments and churches including the most grandiose of Gothic cathedrals, the Duomo. For those on Milan holidays looking for the latest trends and retail indulgence, this city is famed for its fashion, contemporary Italian creativity and style all of which are an essential part of the Milan ethos. The shopping district including Via Montenapoleone, Via Mazoni, Via Sant’Andrea and Via della Spiga rival Bond Street and Fifth Avenue in terms of exclusive designer boutiques. City breaks to Milan are a shopper’s heaven and because the shops are set in elegant 18th century palazzo, a day of retail therapy simply has to be concluded with a cocktail in the historic Bar Cova before dinner in one of many stylish restaurants. The nightlife is vibrant with an avant-garde theatre scene and nightclubs aplenty.
With a fantastic offering of shopping, entertainment, architectural and religious sites, holidays to Milan are a fantastic way to experience bustling, cosmopolitan Italy."source: http://www.classic-collection.co.uk/italy/milan
